Lucy Albert (Directing)

My name is Lucy Albert and I am the Directing Apprentice. I am a sophomore Instrumental/vocal major at LaGuardia Arts High School, but before this year I was homeschooled with my three other siblings. I am a Shakespeare fanatic. My favorite Shakespeare play so far is Macbeth. When I’m not singing or creating my life movie I enjoy making mixed cassette tapes, buskin’ with my violin, exploring my city and drawing on my hands and ankles.

Emily Burnaman (Sound System and Design)

Emily Burnaman Wilton, Connecticut. I am 16 years old going to St. Luke's School in New Canaan and I am a sophomore. I work on the sound board for the high school and middle school plays. I just had spring break and went up to Vermont, lots of skiing. It's kinda hard readjusting back to school, but there is so much happening. I am anticipating my trip to Disney World for my band performance. I play the french horn and trumpet. Right when I return my family is lucky to be hosting a french student for the next two weeks. I am very excited to meet him and practice my french. When he returns to Paris, practice for the Othello show starts so I am VERY eager to be a part of it.

Lili De’Rossi (Acting)

Hello, my name is Liliana De'Rossi (Lili for short) and I'm 15 years old attending Brien McMahon High School. This is my second year as an acting apprentice in Shakespeare on the Sound, and I'm so happy to get another opportunity like this! Aside from acting I love singing, music, sports, games and making people laugh or smile. I'm always eager to learn more about things I find truly interesting, so asking for help is not a problem. I recently joined Saint Paul's on the Green's church choir, and I'm really enjoying it!

Cordelia Diamond (Costumes)

My name is Cordelia Diamond. I’m 14 years old and I attend Greens Farms Academy. I am lucky to be the costume design apprentice for this year’s production of Othello. I love photography and art, specifically fashion illustration and costume design. I love to play volleyball, go rock climbing, snowboarding, and basically any sport that doesn’t involve running! I just finished the book Pride and Prejudice, and enjoy listening to both Indie and Classical music. Both of my parents were theatre managers, so I have a lot to live up to in the theatre area!

Will Doughty (Stage Management)

Hey there, my name is Will Doughty, I’m 17 years old and I go to Darien High School. I am the stage management apprentice. I am involved in the theatre and music programs at my school, and when I’m not worrying about getting my homework done on time I will probably be playing Pokémon. And I find popularity overrated, I’d rather be a geek-wad.

Jess Goodwin (Education)

My name is Jessica Goodwin, but everyone calls me Jess or Jessie. I'm a senior at Sarah Lawrence College and a member of the Theatre Outreach program there. I don't like writing autobiographies because I enjoy talking much more -- maybe too much! I also enjoy rowing (Go, Gryphons!); backpacking (and I _always_ know where my towel is); the nerd trifecta of science fiction, graphic novels, and roleplaying games; and a good cup of tea.

Erin Joenk (Production and Design)

Hello all! My name is Erin Joenk and I am a rising junior at Oberlin College with a double major in Theater (Production and Design concentration) and History (Modern European History concentration). I am a Production and Design Apprentice for Shakespeare on the Sound. I speak Spanish and I am learning German. I also enjoy power tools, dancing, political ideologies of WWII, the Dresden Dolls, books and most things Joss Whedon has created.  I really hate the word problematic. And cockroaches.

Kyle Radler (Dramaturgy)

My name is Kyle Radler. I am the Dramaturgy Apprentice for Shakespeare on the Sound this summer. I am eighteen years old and grew up and live around here in Stamford, CT, where I accumulated some of the experiences associated with youth. I am a freshman at Columbia University in New York City, where I am thinking of majoring in Classics and have been fortunate enough to see some great theatre and act in the theatre department. Right now I'm reading this book by Robertson Davies; he introduces the book with this great quote: "What's bred in the bone will not out of the flesh."

George Parke Stevenson (Acting)

Hey, my name is Parke and I hail from Wilton, CT. I will be an acting apprentice, concentrating on the villainous role of Iago. I was introduced to theater when I was ten, playing the Prince in Cinderella, and it has consumed me ever since. As I have grown theater has become my unrelenting passion. I yearn for opportunities like this one Shakespeare on the Sound has given me and I am forever grateful. From performing the Othello rap in my high school cafeteria to working on a full, professionally staged production...look how far I’ve come!

Claire Whitin (House Management)

My name is Claire Whitin. I’m sixteen, attend Wilton High School, and will be the House Management Apprentice. This summer, I'll juggle theater, school assignments, and basking in the sun. I love politics, a cappella music, Scrabble, peach tea, and (of course) William Shakespeare. What I truly enjoy most is making productions more organized backstage, more fun for actors onstage, and more memorable for audiences.

Noelle Valentine (Acting)

Hi, I am Noelle Valentine! I am 17 years old and currently attending Greenwich High School where I currently do theater there as well. I am an acting apprentice for Othello under Victor Williams. I am really excited about this upcoming summer where a very talented group of apprentices can show and tell their talents to many people!

Will Cohn (Acting)

Hello! My name is Will Cohn and I am an acting apprentice and will also be playing the role of A Boy, which I have yet to name, in Othello. I have been involved in theatre since the age of 8 and am planning to peruse for a long, long, long time. I go to Staples High School and am a current member of Staples Players. I do a lot of community theatre all over Connecticut and have played numerous parts including Peter in The Diary of Anne Frank, Denby in Ice Glen, and many others. This is my first professional production and I am so thrilled to be a part of it. My hobbies include theatre, theatre, and theatre; some might call me a theatre kid.
